Soul de Vienne presents new single “Fear Without a Name”

Soul de Vienne releases “Fear Without a Name” — a cinematic soul anthem exploring emotional manipulation, silent fear and the moment clarity breaks through confusion.

Blending modern R&B textures with bold trumpet motifs and emotionally charged female vocals, the track captures the tension between vulnerability and strength. Reduced verses build into explosive choruses, creating a sound that feels intimate yet confrontational.

At the center of the song is vocalist Gwen Rakotomalala (Madagascar), whose delivery moves from fragile restraint to commanding intensity. Her voice carries the emotional weight of a story about love distorted by power and fear. The project’s distinctive brass signature comes from Italian trumpeter Andrea Guerrini, whose melodic phrasing adds urgency and cinematic depth to the production.

Written and produced by composer and musical director Roman Schleischitz, founder of Soul de Vienne, the track reflects his vision of blending classical structure with contemporary soul aesthetics.

“Sometimes the most dangerous fear is the one nobody names. This song is about power, silence and the invisible line between love and control. Once you see it, you can’t unsee it.” — Roman Schleischitz

Gwen Rakotomalala adds:
“Tsy fitiavana izany raha tahotra no mitoetra ao anatiny.” “It is not love if fear lives inside it.” — Gwen Rakotomalala

“Fear Without a Name” addresses a universal but often unnamed experience: when love becomes control, when silence replaces honesty and when fear lingers without being spoken. With its bold lyrical stance and contemporary sonic identity, the single positions Soul de
Vienne as a project unafraid to confront uncomfortable truths through powerful musical storytelling.
