Under the artistic direction of Austrian composer and producer Roman Schleischitz, Soul de Vienne brings together musicians from across Europe. “I never wanted to write an album that tells people what to think,” says Roman Schleischitz. “I wanted to write songs that allow people to feel. Fear, hope, love, disappointment, anger and joy are all part of being human. Music doesn’t have to solve those emotions-it simply gives them a place to exist.”
At the heart of Soul de Vienne lies the belief that authentic musicianship still matters. Rather than following musical trends, the project embraces expressive vocals, warm brass arrangements, elegant keyboards, organic rhythm sections and meticulously crafted productions. Every instrument serves the story, and every arrangement leaves space for emotion to breathe.

Choosing the first single proved to be one of the most challenging decisions of the entire project.
“That was probably the hardest decision we had to make,” recalls Schleischitz. “There was no obvious choice. Throughout the recording process, every one of us connected with different songs for different reasons. In the end, it wasn’t about choosing the ‘best’ track-it was about finding the one that opens the door into the world of this album.”
At a time when algorithms, artificial intelligence and instant gratification increasingly shape the way music is consumed, Soul de Vienne deliberately takes a different path. The album is built around songs that reveal new details with every listen, arrangements that reward attention, and performances where emotion matters more than perfectie
